Event Overview

WildEndurance is a new 100km team event in the stunning Blue Mountains World Heritage area just 2 hours drive from Sydney, New South Wales. The inaugural event will be held on the weekend of 3-4 May 2008.

Working in teams, participants will need commitment and passion to challenge their personal limits while raising funds to support The Wilderness Society's conservation campaigns for a brighter, more secure future. 

WildEndurance sets a new standard for team trek events. Teams of 4-6 people will travel on foot together through mountain wilderness, choosing either to complete the entire 100km course together over one weekend or dividing into two relay groups each travelling 50km.

The route incorporates 4,000 meters of ascent and passes through some of Australia's most iconic scenery. Starting and finishing in the historic village of Leura the course includes the world famous Three Sisters and the stunning Jamison valley. Find out more about the course here.

There will be checkpoints along the route where teams can meet up with their personal support team.  While the course is tough, with training any reasonably healthy person can complete it.

By competing in WildEndurance, participants will be able to challenge themselves, their friends and their colleagues, while helping keep our climate, water supplies and unique Australian wild places healthy and safe.

Participants will also be competing for great prizes from our leading brand sponsors including Casio, Brooks, Summit Gear, Linebreak and Wiley X.

Registration is $150 per person, and each competitor, working with their team, will also raise an additional $350 in tax deductible sponsorship payable to The Wilderness Fund.
